Roasted Whole Garlic With Olive Oil

  • 1 bulb garlic preferably hardneck
  • 1 tbsp. Pickle Creek infused olive oil
  • 1 loaf crusty French or Italian bread
  • sea salt & freshly ground black pepper

  • 1 tbsp. Pickle Creek infused olive oil
  • 1 loaf crusty French or Italian bread
  • sea salt & freshly ground black pepper
Instructions
  1. Heat your over to 350 degrees F.
  2. Carefully peel the paperlike skin from around each bulb of garlic, leavening just enough skin behind to hold the cloves together. Cut a 1/4- to 1/2-inch slice from the top of each bulb to expose the cloves. Place bulb, cut side up, on a square of aluminium foil large enough to fully envelope the garlic head when you are ready to wrap it up.
  3. Drizzles the olive oil over the garlic bulb bulb. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Wrap the foil securely around the bulb and place in a baking pan, casserole dish, or pie plate.
  4. Bake 45 to 50 minutes until the garlic is tender when pierce with a fork. Cool slightly. To serve, gently squeeze the roasted garlic out of the clove onto the sliced warm bread. Use a knife to spread the softened garlic. Enjoy!
