The online plant stand is separate from our Pickle Creek product online store. The plant stand is where you can preorder live garden transplants from our farm to pick up at an Iowa Farmers Market near you.

We do not ship our live plants, but you can preorder them here through our website to pick up at one of the following locations:

• Fairfield at the Pickle Creek Tasting Room 
• Des Moines at the Downtown Des Moines Farmers Market 
• Davenport at the Freight House Farmers Market
• Iowa City at the Iowa City Farmers Markets 
• Washington at the Washington Farmers Markets 
• Pella during the Dutch Craft Market (May 7-9 only)

When we receive your order, we will email to confirm a specific pickup date that works for you. Plants are available now, but some of them (like the basils) are still pretty small. If your garden’s not ready for planting, we suggest waiting to pick them up later in May, as the plants will grow faster in our greenhouse than they will in a window. 🙂
